the miracle of sight …

My twin sister Rosa and I were only 3 years old when Dad died, but all our lives we’ve grown up hearing stories about him.

So when I travelled with Rosa to a remote eye camp in Nepal last year to see Dad’s work up close, it was the most amazing experience of my life. 

I know you recently received our survey and we are looking forward to hearing your thoughts, but today I wanted to tell you about this life-changing trip.

A day after Lakpa’s operation, Rosa and I gently removed the bandages his eyes. He just couldn’t stop smiling, and said to us:  “I can’t describe it in words, I am so happy….I have my independence back.”
